2011: What an exciting year!!

2011 Christmas Newsletter

As a special treat, we decided to post Ben's 1st newsletter:
My Mommy and Daddy have told me that every year we send out a letter to tell everyone about what went on this year. This is of course my first Christmas, my first year with the family, heck my first everything! After all, I was born March 28th of 2011. Mommy and Daddy named me Benjamin Russell Carbonneau. We have lots of fun together (even if I do wake Mommy and Daddy up at some odd hours every now and then!).

In May, we celebrated a very special day. My grandparents even came out to meet me. Grandma Ellie dumped some water on my head when we went to church, then there were lots of pictures, lots of people looking at me, I took a nap, we had some cake and we celebrated Mommy’s Day!

One Incredible Summer!!

Family@Becca'sWedding

Where to start? I guess the beginning is just about the best place....
We started off the summer with a trip to the east coast. We spent 2.5 weeks visiting family and friends in Boston & New Hampshire. The during the first week, we stayed at Vic's family cottage in Hampton Beach, NH. It was a blast! Not only is the cottage just steps from the ocean, but, friends and family came out to see us over the week and we got to visit with lots of people without having to move around all over New England! Check out our pictures in the photo gallery! - Under the Family heading.

Introducing Benjamin Russell Carbonneau

We are happy to introduce the newest member of our family: Benjamin Russell Carbonneau. He was born on March 28, 2011. He was 6 lbs, 11 oz and 19 inches long. He was also 3 weeks early. We are so excited to be parents! Ben's Grandma Ellie flew out to CA to be here when we got back from the hospital and stayed with us for 6 weeks. She was an immense help and we are very thankful to have had her here with us. We are so blessed to have him in our lives now. We were also overwhelmed with all of the well wishes from our friends and family that came when Benjamin was born. It has truly been an amazing event and time of our lives. Then, in the 1st week of May, the rest of Ben's grandparents came out to meet Ben and witness his baptism.
